The Ephemeral Project

Inspired by the kinematics of the wing structure, the design incorporates aesthetically driven motion through linkage mechanisms and servos. These wings create ever-changing spaces that respond to user movements. Through their calibrated expansion, contraction, and rotation, they modulate circulation patterns, create varying degrees of enclosure and visual permeability, and establish alternative pathways that accommodate diverse modes of mobility, including wheelchair and stroller access.
