Models and Misbehaviors:
Architectures of Democracy
Historian Antoine Picon's assertion that "No politics are possible without the situatedness and embodiment that build situation and decors enhance" underscores the importance of architectural context in democracy. This exhibition explores the interplay between democracy and architecture by examining the forms of parliamentary buildings, their organizational structures, and the instances of misbehavior that occur within them.

Taking inspiration from Herbert Bayer's Field of Vision diagram, an alcove has been designed to facilitate observation from both street-level and interior perspectives. Within this space, democracy is depicted through five portals: physical models, digital models, system models, plans, and research. These portals seek to investigate the relationship between the layout of governmental institutions and occurrences of democratic misconduct.
